Welcome to the August issue of ACM Capital Partners’ Value Line newsletter. In this issue, we have detailed two new engagements.
ACM ENGAGED TO LEAD STAFFING BUSINESS
The firm announced that it has commenced an engagement with a staffing client in the Southeast in which they have become the company’s President and CEO.
This $17M business provides staffing services to retailers across the US. The business, originally founded in the South, has grown through acquisition and now has clients in the Northeast, Midwest and the West Coast. Staffing companies pose unique challenges, as there are significant part time employees which often lead to higher turnover. Further exacerbating these challenges, is the implementation of the Affordable Care Act in 2015.
“This engagement is a perfect fit for our firm as we have worked with several staffing companies in the last dozen years,” said ACM’s Managing Partner, Jim Martin. “This client, which has its own unique issues, will have the benefit of our expertise in this industry and our extensive work dealing with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (“ACA”) across the country.”
ACM, through Martin’s efforts, were the first group to implement a solution to the ACA in South Florida well before ACA was signed into law. The firm’s success was highlighted on Fox Business News in December last year. “We have been on the forefront of this issue long before the ACA was enacted. We understand this area quite well. Our actions have saved our clients over $3M annually in health care premiums over the last three years alone, and it has served as a hedge against the double digit increases in traditional healthcare costs.”
ACM PROVIDING SYSTEMS INTEGRATION ASSISTANCE TO PE CLIENT’S PORTFOLIO COMPANY
ACM was hired to perform systems integration assistance to a health care provider based in South Florida. The client specializes in providing excellent, cost-conscious private care referral services for patients in their homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Additionally, the provider finds the best private duty home healthcare professionals in the business. Furthermore, ACM was called in to assist with an online collaborative management environment to keep all project constituents in the loop and aware of their responsibilities. ACM is assisting in negotiating license acquisitions as well.
